Tag der Audioaufnahme: Als mir das Ergebnis egal war und ich anfing, Spaß zu haben, hat alles geklappt
Endlich, endlich habe ich neue Lieder aufgenommen! Yeah!
So eine Erleichterung – vier Stück an einem Vormittag! Und danach heißt es: Noch mehr Arbeit beim Schneiden, Mixen, Hochladen etc.
Die Klavierspuren hatte ich vor einigen Monaten aufgenommen, aber für das Singen habe ich mich erst jetzt bereit gefühlt. Beide Aufnahmen haben in meinem Wohnzimmer stattgefunden.
Mein Partner macht immer mit: Technik aufbauen (die er sich zum Podcasten besorgt hat), Aufnahmesoftware bedienen, sogar Fotos und Videos machen (s. unten). Bei der Nachbearbeitung hilft er natürlich auch. Wir haben es super zusammen geschafft, und ein Lied ist schon fertig und liegt auf Soundcloud:
Vor dem Studiomikrofon mit einem Kopfhörer zu stehen ist nicht das Gleiche, wie frei zu singen. Man hat kaum Bewegungsmöglichkeit und man hört sich ganz anders. Das hat mich in der ersten Stunde sehr gestört.
Als wir alles aufgenommen hatten, bin ich an die frische Luft gegangen, um mich abzuschalten. Danach wollte ich nochmal alles durchsingen. In dem Moment war es mir egal, was rauskommt – alle Spuren hatten wir ja schon. Als ich losgelassen habe, fing der Spaß an! Alle Stücke habe ich ohne Unterbrechung gesungen und mit allem war ich zufrieden. Das war eine große Befriedigung. Ich habe mich nochmal vergewissert, dass der Spaß oft mehr bringt, als harte Arbeit.

Finally, finally I have recorded new songs! Yeah!
Such a relief – four songs in one morning! And after that even more work with editing, mixing, uploading etc.
I recorded the piano tracks a few months ago, but it was only now that I felt ready to sing. Both recordings took place in my living room.
My partner also works with me. He sets up the equipment (that he bought for podcasting) , operates the recording software and even takes photos and videos (see below). Of course, he also helps with post-production. We did a great job together, and one song is already finished and now uploaded on Soundcloud:
Standing in front of the studio microphone with headphones is not the same as singing freely. You can hardly move and you hear yourself quite differently. That disturbed me a lot in the first hour.
When we had recorded everything, I went out into the fresh air to switch off. After that I wanted to sing through everything again. At that moment I didn’t care what would come out, as we already had all the tracks. When I let go, the fun started! All the songs were sung without interruption and I was truly happy with everything. That was a great satisfaction. I’ve reassured myself that fun is often more than hard work.
